FRS Terms & Conditions
for All

Boarding

  • Pet has to be healthy and free from any skin infections or contagious diseases ie; flu, cough, fungal infection (ringworm), etc. Please alert us if pet is healing from an injury, or has any medical condition or allergy.

  • We reserve the right to refuse admission to any pet that presents the appearance of illness upon check-in - such as lethargy, discharging or inflamed eyes, coughing or repeated sneezing.

  • We will not hold such pets for any period, and they must be immediately removed either by the pet owner, or transported to a vet at the pet owners' expense.

No Infectious Feline Diseases

  • Cat must be free from FIP / FIV / FCoV / FeLV / FPV / FVR or other carriers of infectious diseases to board at FRS.

  • All small animals must be free from any carriers of infectious diseases to board at FRS

External and Internal
Parasite Treatment

  • Topical flea & tick spot-on treatment must be applied prior to admission or upon check-in. We only accept veterinary approved spot-on brands that protects against fleas, mites, and other parasites.

  • We do not accept: Flea collars due to safety. If flea & tick treatment is self-applied, kindly provide video proof of application and that it covers the whole period of boarding.

  • Should any parasites be found on pet during period of stay, we are authorised to take the appropriate actions which will be chargeable to pet owner.

  • FRS will not be held responsible for any case of parasite infestation on pawbaby during the period of stay if pet owner claims to self-apply flea & tick prevention.

  • If caught providing false spot-on application information, we have the right to ban your pawbaby from boarding with us.

Belongings

  • Any bedding/ carrier/ cage provided by the pet owner must be clean and not deemed unsanitary the owner has to ensure all items are collected during check-out. We cannot guarantee items will not be misplaced during the cleaning of cage. Any clothing item/ cage/ carrier that is stained by pet when received or during their stay will not be wash by us. Any request for cleaning the items will be charges by us of RM25 per item. Any items that are not collected within 3 months will be disposed of by us.

Food Supply

  • We do provide dry food / kibbles using the local brand (do support us for supporting local) with 2 feeding times daily.

  • Dry food/ kibbles supplied to us by pet owners must be in a proper container with a scooper and labelled clearly with pet's name and with feeding instructions.

  • Raw food supplied to us by pet owners must be individually labelled with feeding instructions. Raw food will be removed 60 minutes after serving.

Cat Litter

  • We are using pine wood cat litter because its natural, biodegradable and flusable. If they are using other type of litter we recommend for pet's owner to bring along their own litter to avoid confusion.

  • Shall the pet's owner are not aware with any allergies with pine wood, we will monitor the first 24 hours as the first symptoms will occurs 6 hours to 24 hours.

  • Once they show signs of allergies, we will change to tofu litter with additional charges applies.

Veterinary Emergency

  • Any required veterinary treatment will be at the pet owner's expense. Payment for treatment is due at the time of collection or return of the pet. In the event the pet owner cannot be contacted before treatment, the course of treatment shall be at the sole discretion of FRS. We will contact our panel vet depending on the nature of the illness or injury.

Report Card

  • All boarding are applicable with a report card update daily with a single picture on the second day of stay but only applicable for current in house pet. pet owner able to refer report card for pet's behavior and daily excrement conditions.

  • Daily updates will starts from 1030hrs, this is done during our cleaning and sanitisation process. The updates will be done by turn, we do seek your kind patience and understanding.

Cat's Playtime

  • In FRS we do provide playtime for cats with a maximum 10 minutes per owner pet for certain room types. The playtime area it is a shared environment due to that there are certain requirement to be meet.

  • Updated vaccination jabs

  • Updated fleas drop (less a month from previous drop)No contagious disease

  • Not fierce cat; Friendly cat only (coz we need to hold and transfer to play area)

Check In

  • Do advise us in advance shall you need early check in arrangement.

Check Out for all

  • Mon - Tue : 0830hrs - 1330hrs

  • Wed - Sun : 1500hrs - 1700hrs

  • We have changed our pick up time as above. This to make things more organise and give room for those that still in house and in grooming process. If pet is not picked up by standard check-out timing, check-out extension fee applies.

Payment Policy

  • Full payment upon check in. Non refundable for any payment has made.

  • Pending payment shall be settle immediately.

  • For responding owner,it will be given 3 days for them to settle the pending payment to avoid the cat put up for adoption.

  • For non responding owner, it will be put up for adoption for more than 24 hours of no respond.

  • FRS has the right to proceed with any action mentioned, without owner's consent. Their profile will be shared throughout Cat's Community Malaysia for records.

Indemnity

  • All reasonable care will be taken but no responsibility can be accepted for any loss, injury, or death of any animal in our care.

FRS Grooming Terms & Conditions

At Home Preparation

  • Cat should be in a secure carrier for your cat's safety.

  • Our preferred carrier is a plastic carrier with both front and top doors. This carrier offers more than one way of getting the cat in and out safely.

  • Several days before your cat’s appointment, you should find and bring out the carrier. To make it comfortable for your cat, make sure you have wiped it down with cat-safe cleaning products (especially if it has been sitting out in your garage or shed).

  • Also check that the carrier is in good repair, including the doors and any screws, latches or velcro/mesh on the sides. Zip-ties can be used on the sides if you are missing any screws or to reinforce the sides of the carrier.

  • To make your cat more comfortable, add a small towel or thin cat bed to the floor of the carrier. Leave the carrier out in your living room for the days leading up to the appointment.

What Not to Bring

  • Food or Treats - If your cat has dietary restrictions, then bringing a few appropriate treats to give to your groomer (for after your cat’s groom) is fine. But limit feeding a full meal or a lot of treats on the way to the groomer as some cats can get motion sickness during car rides.

  • Toys - While toys are fun at home, they may provide too much of a distraction (good or bad) during a grooming appointment.

  • Medications or Sedatives - Even over the counter medications (especially things for “calming” purposes) should always be discussed with your vet/ groomer prior to arriving for their appointment.

Medical, Health and Behaviour

  • Pet owner will inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, aggressiveness, physical conditions, or pre-existing medical conditions so we can avoid aggravating these situations.

  • Please let us know of any prior grooming history you or your cat may not have found satisfactory.

  • If your cat is not feeling well or is a carrier of any infectious feline diseases, please do not bring them to our facility as it is a shared environment. If you intend to send a recent rescued stray cat, please bring them to the vet for a health assessment before scheduling them for a grooming session with us.

  • We strongly recommend that you have your cat checked annually by a veterinarian and receive the appropriate vaccinations as well as parasite preventative. We do not require proof of vaccination for grooming purpose.

Coat Condition

  • Our groomer will assess your cat's skin and coat condition and advise the appropriate grooming package as well as the price estimation. At times, minor add-ons that are not inclusive in the grooming package such as degreasing will be incorporated to the groom if deemed necessary and will be chargeable to the cat owner.

Appointment Time

  • Earliest appointment will be start at 1100hrs, you may drop your cat earlier than said time however our official grooming time will starts at 1100hrs whether its meant for walk in/ advance appointment/ check out customers.

  • Every effort will be made to keep our scheduled grooms running smoothly. Please be punctual for your allocated timeslot so we will not fall behind on other clients. A basic groom with good temperament cat can be completed in 2.5 hours from the time of your appointment.

  • If your cat has behaviour issues or serious skin and coat problems, you may be looking at a longer period of time. We will message you via WhatsApp when your cat is ready to be picked up from their appointment. If you need to collect your cat by a certain time, please let us know prior to the groom.

  • You are required to pick your cat up within an hour timeframe from when you are notified of their groom completion. We charge a late pick-up fee of RM20 for every hour after operating hours.

Cat Handling

  • If it is deemed necessary for the safety of your cat and the groomer, items such as muzzles, cones, protective gloves and methods such as scruffing will be humanely used. Gabapentin might also be suggested and administered, with the owner's approval.

  • A difficult cat surchage will be imposed if your cat is deemed extremely difficult (e.g. urinates or defecates repeatedly, extra manpower and time taken) or aggressive (e.g. scratches, bites, swats, injury to groomers, broken equipments etc).

  • If your cat is extremely aggressive or highly uncooperative during the grooming session, FRS reserves the right to end the session even if the groom is not completed and the full grooming price will be charged.

  • We reserve the right to decline a return appointment for pets whose behavior makes it unsafe for us to groom them.

Parasite Infestation

  • If you are unaware of external parasites present on your cat, the groomer will amend the booked grooming package to the Flea & Tick Treatment to eradicate the parasites and this will take place on the last slot of the day in order to maintain grooming area sanitation. If cat owner refuses on changing the grooming package, we will not be able to proceed with the groom and you will have to pick your cat up within 30 minutes of being notified.

  • Booking deposit will also be forfeited.

Mats & Pelts

  • Allowing a cat's coat to get matted is not only very uncomfortable but dangerous for your cat's health. The groomer will de-mat the cat (if possible) and there is a surcharge for mat removal. If cat owner requests the mats be combed out, the groomer will assess if it is possible and will not proceed if it causes the cat undue stress or pain. Excessive de-matting is a painful, time-consuming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate (or cause) skin problems.

  • Pelts cannot be combed out and a Lion Cut shave down is the only way to remove them. Neglect of your cat's coat can be cause for problems after grooming/shave down such as clipper/brush irritation, itchiness and may expose pre-existing skin conditions.

  • Some of those risks include nicks, cuts, or abrasions due to warts, moles, and skin trapped in the mats.

  • After-effects of mat removal can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritation and failure of the hair to regrow.Shaved pets are also more at risk of sunburn and should be protected from the sun until the hair has grown sufficiently to protect the skin.

Bring-from-home Shampoo

  • We do allow and able to groom your cat by using your own shampoo that approved by certified groomer and/or approved by Veterinary

  • Do advise us in advance if you have other than what we listed for us to verify the ingredients before proceed with the booking.

  • There will be additional charges for matted/ aggressive and other difficulties we faced during the grooming process based on consultation and with the agreement by both parties.

  • No fur warranty, fleas control warranty and fungus reduction warranty are given for this type of grooming.

  • We are not responsible for any allergies reaction occurs during or after the grooming done.

  • The charges would be RM35 per adult cat (no further discount for kitten) Please refer listed brands below.

  • We want our customers to be satisfied with their cat's groom. We offer touch ups within 2 days of grooming session if there are any issues you would like fixed.

Limitation of Liability

  • Client assumes all liabilities, financial and otherwise, for the behaviour and health of their pet. FRS will be held harmless from damages, loss or claims arising from any known or unknown pre-existing condition of the pet.

FRS Daycare Terms & Conditions

  • We offer day care for your pet to wait in comfort with minimum hours required. They will be placed in a standard cage, served food & water and have access to litter.

Post Grooming Nap

  • We offer post grooming nap for your pet to wait in comfort if you want to drop pet off early or are unable to pick up within an hour after grooming. There will be placed in a standard cage with water and have access to litter.

  • If your pet is not picked up within 2 hours of groom completion and you are unresponsive to our messages, they will be automatically placed in daycare and it will be charged to pet owner. Daycare is only applicable for pet without fungal infection or parasite infestation.

Payment Policy

  • Non refundable for any shorten hours that is less than the minimum requirement stated.

  • No, its a flat rate.

  • We are trying our best to support local brand, due to that any local brand in the market that we able to get our hands on it and we will serve it. We recommend to bring your own kibbles if they are a fussy and picky eater.

  • Do i need to bring my own cat litter?

  • We are using pine wood as our cat litter, if you do not know that your cat have allergy with it. We will monitor, once they have any sign of allergy reaction we will inform the pet's owner and change it to tofu with extra charges applies.
